On July 21-22, 2025, Zou Lan, PBOC Deputy Governor, attended the 30th EMEAP Governors’ Meeting. The attendees exchanged views on global and regional economic and financial developments, challenges of geoeconomic fragmentation, changing inflation dynamics and monetary policy frameworks, and EMEAP’s future reform. Zou introduced China’s recent economic and financial developments and elaborated on China’s macroeconomic policies. He called on EMEAP central banks to further deepen collaboration to safeguard regional financial stability.
